Roy recently played the role of 'The Wizard' in THE WIZARD OF OZ at The Royal Festival Hall.

His most recent Television role was as ‘Archie Shuttleworth’ in CORONATION STREET, a role he played for 3 years.

Roy’s career commenced in the late 1950’s with seasons at Richmond Theatre, The Young Vic and Regents Park.  His Television career began with BBC’s notorious NOT SO MUCH A PROGRAMME MORE A WAY OF LIFE which lead to countless appearances in entertainment and drama productions.

In 2003 Roy was awarded an OBE in the New Year’s Honour for his continued contribution to entertainment.
