June Brown MBE

June played the role of ‘Jessie’ in CALENDER GIRLS at The Noel Coward Theatre, London in the autumn of 2009.

She was also nominated for ‘Best Actress’ at the 2009 BAFTA’s.

June is best known from her regular role as ‘Dot Cotton’ in the BBC’s flagship drama serial EASTENDERS, which has earned her numerous awards.

She also starred alongside Penelope Keith in MARJORIE AND GLADYS for ITV, and appeared in DOTS STORY, a one off special for the BBC.

June’s other Television credits include GORMENGHAST and THE VERDICT.

She is also a highly accomplished Theatre Actress and Director .
