Julia is currently filming her lead role of 'Dorcas' in the second series of LARK RISE TO CANDLEFORD for the BBC.

She is probably best known for her role of ‘Saffron’ in 6 series of ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS for the BBC.

Her other  Television credits include the roles of ‘Hannah’ in SECOND THOUGHTS, ‘Mercy Pecksniff’ in MARTIN CHUZZELWIT, ‘Lydia Bennett’ in PRIDE & PREJUDICE, ‘Hannah’ in FAITH IN THE FUTURE, ‘Carla’ in 2 series of JONATHAN CREEK, ‘Mariah’ in HORNBLOWER and more recentyly the lead role of 'Jessie Brown' in CRANFORD for the BBC.

On Film, IN THE BLEAK MID WINTER, CHICKEN RUN ( Ginger ), VENUS & MARS and THE FINAL CURTAIN.
