Leigh McDonald

Leigh has recently appeared as ‘Vera/Aunt Ada’ in SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING at The Manchester Royal Exchange.

Prior to this she appeared as ‘Bianca’ in OTHELLO at The Sheffield Crucible with Dominic West and completed a run of ABSURD PERSON SINGULAR at The Curve, Leicester, where she played the role of ‘Jane Hopecroft’.

Her other stage credits include ‘Sarah’ in COMPANY at The Southwark Playhouse,  ‘Sara-Jane Moore’ in ASSASSINS for the Union Theatre Company, ‘Rosie’ in MAMMA MIA on an International Tour, ‘Edie’ in KISS ME LIKE YOU MEAN IT at The Escape Theatre, ‘Jo’ in DUST AT MIDNIGHT for The Womens Theatre Company and numerous credits for the Royal National Theatre Ensemble.

On television Leigh has played ‘Annie Massey’ in THE CUT for BBC2, ‘Susan’ in PEAK PRACTICE, ‘Nicky Cheadle’ in TICKET TO GLORY and ‘Mae West’ in STAYING ALIVE.
