Hildegard has  enjoyed a successful and varied career in theatre, film and television. She recently performed the role of ‘Miss Graves’ in Enchanted April at The Mill at Sonning. Prior to this she performed as ‘Aunt Lydia’ in THE HOLLY AND THE IVY for New Theatre in Cardiff.

Her recent Television roles include ‘Mrs Florence Pennel’ in ABOVE SUSPICION ( Red Dahlia ) for La Plante, and ‘The Marchioness of Telford’ in HOTEL BABYLON for the BBC.

In Theatre, ‘Miss Carrie’ in Tennesse William’s VIEUX CARRE at Charing Cross Theatre, ‘Mrs Jamieson’ in a UK tour of CRANFORD, ‘Madam Arcati’ in a short tour of BLITHE SPIRIT  and ‘Mrs. Violet Venable’ in SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER at Theatre Clwyd.

Her other theatre roles include a season at the RSC, ‘Gertrude ‘ in HAMLET, ‘Eleanor of Aquitane’ in THE LION IN WINTER and ‘The Abbess’ in COMEDY OF ERRORS at Stafford.

On television includes the female lead in two series – THE BOY DOMINIC and DIAMONDS and she played ‘Cleopatra’ opposite Charlton Heston in his own film of Shakespeare’s ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA.

Her other Television credits include the Semi-Regular role of ‘Sian Peters’ in DOCTORS, ‘Lisa Jensen’ in CASUALTY,  ‘Cara Darch’ in TESS OF THE D’URBERVILLES for ITV, ‘Jill Redford’ in DANGERFIELD for the BBC, ‘D.I. Alice Beale’ in  A TOUCH OF FROST for ITV, and semi regular’ Dianne Nichols’ in BROOKSIDE for C4.

On Film, Linda played the starrring role of of ‘Kezia’ in THE MILL ON THE FLOSS for Carnival.

Linda’s Theatre roles include ‘Eileen Midway’ in SEMI DETACHED at Chichester, ‘Anthea/Judy’ in JOKING APART at Windsor, ‘Jane’ in  FALLEN ANGELS , ‘Glenda Parry’ in the UK Tour of THE TART & THE VICARS WIFE and more recently’ Lady Glenmire’ in a UK Tour of CRANFORD.
