Matt is from Leeds and trained at York St John University and Intake Arts College. In 2021 he was the winning contestant in TV reality show MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT (E4). He also featured in the sequel MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT – ONE YEAR ON! (E4).
Theatre credits include ‘Hugo’ in ASPECTS OF LOVE and ‘Banditti’ in ‘TIS PITY SHE’S A WHORE ( both for Leeds Playhouse), ‘Laurance’ in ABIGAILS PARTY (UK tour), ‘Hans Zeller’ in THE SOUND OF MUSIC (The Carriageworks, Leeds), ‘Johnny’ in LOVE LIFE (Leeds Grand/Opera North), ‘Howard’ and ‘Jason’ in TAKE 2 – A TRIBUTE TO TAKE THAT (UK national tour) and part of the choir in CHESS (Leeds Grand).
Matt is a regular host of the MASQUERADE FOR MACMILLAN Ball and last year hosted LEEDS PRIDE in Millennium Square. He is a highly skilled tenor singer with an emphasis on pop and rock. He is an experienced events and project manager and has studied film and video editing. He can swim and enjoys running and bodybuilding.
